Knowing about intercultural communication is really important because it represents the interaction that occurs between individuals and entities that are culturally different. At some point in life, people will interact with other people outside of their own culture.
Lebanese people are known of their tradition of hospitality. Lebanese citizens consider an honor to welcome a guest in their home. Guests are usually greeted by 3 kisses and generally served tea or coffee immediately when seated. In Lebanon, since it is compulsory to learn Arabic, French, and English at schools, Lebanese people tend to mix these languages when speaking. With this advantage, we gain a better understanding of other cultures without going through “a shock”. In Canada, the country officially applies two languages, French and English, each in different parts in it. Which is also an advantage because usually the residence learns both languages and it is a benefit for communicating with other cultures. In Canada, religion doesn’t have an important place in the society anymore. Only a little part of the population remains religious. Whilst, in Lebanon, religion has a big importance and almost everyone is involved in it. In Quebec it is usual to kiss once on each cheek. Family relationships are also quite different between these two countries. For example, in Lebanon, family reunions are a must from time to time and staying in touch with the family is really important while Canadians are not really close to each other when it comes to the extended family.
Canada is very famous for their poutine and peameal and Lebanon is very known for their hummus and tabbouleh.

In conclusion, the Canadian culture was influenced by other cultures such as the French and the English culture due to their colonization. It is similar to the Lebanese culture that was also influenced by other cultures such as the Turkish and French.

It is located at the crossroads between the Arab world and the Mediterranean Basin, and as such it shares many similarities with other Mediterranean countries, like Spain, Greece and Italy . This is due to a common History those countries share, and consequently close cultures.      To start off, it would be interesting to give some basic information: according to recent statistics, Lebanon is 30 times smaller than Italy, and its population is currently 10 times less. But if we dwelve deeper into their respective cultures, we would be likely to find many similarities.   1- Language:    The Lebanese are known for being very efficient at learning languages. The average Lebanese can speak up to 3 languages: Arabic, French and English. Some are also fluent in Spanish, Italian, or German. Italians mostly speak Italian (97%), and a gre...

The Kurdish culture and the Lebanese culture are quite similar in many aspects including religion, hospitality, code of conduct, food and family. There are also vast differences like language, geography and music. Here I'll compare each aspect separately. Food Food is an important aspect because it defines a big part of culture. A society with their own types of food have a history and thus a strong and content culture. Both Kurdish people and Lebanese people are very proud of their special kinds of foods and they are both quite tasty. Traditional Kurdish food includes yaprakh, niskene, tapsi, shifta and makluba. Traditional lebanese food includes tabbouleh, fattoush, hummus, kebbeh and wine.  Kurdish Cuisine Lebanese Cuisine Religion Kurds are predominantly Sunni Muslim, however there are many other groups of religions including Yezdanism, Zoroastrianism, Christianity, and Judaism, so there is a lot of diversity. As I understand, Lebanon has a lot of ...
